Being a Tourist in your own town.

Thank god for friends and family. Without them, I probably wouldn't do half of the touristy things that I do. Yesterday, save the time change, was a good day. I ate way too much on Saturday night (like 5 pieces of Pizza Hut pizza). I have got to stay away from that crack. It's my one true kryponite. Arggh!

So I ended up not going to the beach as I wanted to. Instead I met up with Ayano and Yu-chan. We ate soba at Ichimian in Old Torrance, then drove up to Sawtelle for some Yogurtland. (I'm feeling full and stupid by now, but what the hell I deserved to have some fun.) Then we went to Melrose. The girls wanted to go to Marc Jacobs, but because of the time change it was 6:06 PM and they were closed. Didn't discourage the girls though. Off to JoyRich we go. I was impressed. The prices aren't super expensive and the designs are hella creative. I would definitely rock some of the T-shirt designs.

Think the night is over... NOPE! Rocking it over to Los Feliz to freeze our asses off and then quickly hop back in the car to head up to Griffith Park. DISCLAIMER: I haven't done shit in Los Angeles, except drive almost everywhere and own Torrance with a mix of K-Town. So I went to Griffith Park for the first time since I arrived in LA on 8/12/1999. Unbelievable. So now I know.

Its pretty cool up there. Definitely want to go again, especially when it is warmer. Monday morning back to work. Have to leave early and clean the house before Geena gets home. To say the house is a mess is an understatement. Like the understatement of the year. Will leave work at 4PM probably. Geena arrives at 7:30PM so I need to clean fast and pick her up.

Tonight?
